If you are arrested for DUI in Gwinnett County, your case will begin in the Gwinnett Recorders Court--if you are arrested in unincorporated Gwinnett County.  At this court, a plea can be negotiated, or your can have a bench trial.  A bench trial is where your case is tried before a judge who acts as both judge and jury.  If you want a jury trial, your case must be bound over to the State Court of Gwinnett County.
